My Team and I – Girl Power, Friendship, and Creativity

Martina Ganahl, Founder and Creative Mind of Elmare Artesania

Finally, the time has come for me to introduce myself and my team. My name is Martina, I am the founder and owner of Elmare – the creative mind with many ideas. I craft our jewelry and design the pieces that are produced by our partner company in India. I negotiate, exhibit, sell at Christmas markets, fill our Instagram account with lots of content, and maintain the online shop. I travel all over Switzerland making braids. I also deliver my jewelry to various stores and decorate their display cases there. My tasks are so varied and diverse that I can't even list them all. In my private life, I am a mom to a wonderful fourteen-year-old daughter. I love to travel and try to live a conscious and healthy lifestyle.

In all my tasks, I am actively supported by my great team, consisting of three other wonderful women.

 

Fabienne is my office fairy; she has enriched my team since 2018

Fabienne is my office fairy.
She packs and ships your orders, writes the notes, is our copywriter, does the monthly financial statements, payroll, and many other office tasks that come up. She also always lends a listening ear, helps me organize my thoughts, assists with decisions, and pitches in wherever she is needed. Fabienne has been by my side for almost 4 years – shortly after the birth of her daughter – and I am grateful to have her on my team.

 

 

 

Hanna is my knotting fairy; she has enriched the team since 2019

Hanna is my knotting fairy.
She supports me in knotting/making our jewelry and knows exactly how each piece of jewelry from each collection is made. She comes to the studio, collects materials, knots and produces everything at home, and brings the finished jewelry back to the studio. Hanna is a mom of two small children, so she can ensure their care at all times while still working creatively for herself. She is so cheerful and carefree – she brings a smile to my face every time she visits the studio. Hanna has been by my side for almost 2 years and I am grateful to have her on my team.

 

 

 

Sonja is my photo fairy, back on our team since 2021

Sonja is my photo fairy.
She is responsible for ensuring that the photos of the jewelry look professional, she does the shoots for the various collections and helps with images and graphics. She photographs the team, she photographs me, in fact, she photographs everything that comes before her lens – photography is her passion, and it shows. Her pictures are edited and designed with great attention to detail. Sonja, who in her private life is a mom to a boy, rejoined the team about a year ago – she had previously been on my team, knotting and making jewelry. I am grateful to have Sonja back on my team.

The Elmare Team consists of 4 powerful women

My team consists only of women. I find it so wonderful to run a business with concentrated female power and to know what daily life as a mom entails. Understanding each other's situations is our top priority. Only together can we grow! Thank you, dear ones, for being on my team and for giving each other our friendship and trust.
