Our Jewelry Collection with Chakra Symbols

Our jewelry embodies a lifestyle in which spirituality and connection with oneself and everything around us plays a major role. Everything consists of energy, and so do we humans. We have 7 main energy centers distributed in our bodies, these energy centers are called Chakras. Each chakra is responsible for a different life energy and body region. For our health and well-being, it is important that these chakras are not blocked and that energy can flow freely.

In our collection, there are some jewelry pieces with Chakra symbols. We have bracelets, each showing one of the 7 Chakra symbols. Either very simple, just with the chakra symbol, or in combination with healing stones. Here are a few example bracelets.



Brand new, we recently also have Chakra necklaces. Either the enchanting necklace where all 7 Chakras are strung together in a row. Or the slightly more delicate version, where only one of the 7 Chakra symbols sits as a pendant in the middle of the chain and is combined with a matching healing stone. Since each chakra in our body vibrates in a specific color, there is also a matching semi-precious stone for each.

What exactly is a Chakra?

 

The term Chakra is derived from the Indian language Sanskrit and means wheel or circle. The 7 main chakras are the energy centers in the human body. They are positioned along the spine and are in constant circular motion.

The chakras make us strong and healthy. But if they are blocked, energy cannot flow freely. This leads to disharmony and illness.
We explain the meaning of the 7 main chakras, how they work, and how important they are for our energy flow and our well-being.

What is the meaning of the 7 Chakras?

 

Each chakra is connected to a specific body area and vibrates in a specific color. The lower chakras correspond to basic needs, and the upper chakras are assigned to mental and spiritual abilities.

For us to feel healthy and content, it is important that all chakras are activated and vibrate harmoniously with each other.

1. Muladhara (Root Support) – The Root Chakra

The root chakra is the lowest chakra and is located at the lower end of the spine, directly near the pelvic floor. Its resonance color is red and its element is earth. Its symbol is the four-petaled lotus.

This base chakra helps us to ground ourselves, to be rooted, to feel stable, and to stand firmly in life with both feet. It gives us a feeling of security and safety. It strengthens basic trust. It helps us to have good physical well-being.

Often, causes such as existential fears, lack of security, or traumas caused by e.g. physical violence can lead to blockages of the root chakra.

Should the root chakra be blocked, we notice this through the following signs:

• Lack of joy in life (also depression)
• Lack of trust
• Lack of purpose
• Digestive disorders, large intestine diseases
• Cold hands and feet, circulatory disorders
• Problems in the lower back

 

2. Svadhisthana (Sweetness, Loveliness) – the Sacral Chakra / Sexual Chakra

The sacral chakra is located a hand's width below the navel at the height of the hip bones. Its resonance color is orange and its element is water. In Hinduism, Svadhisthana is depicted as a lotus with six petals.

The sacral chakra is connected to life energy and is responsible for our creative power. It is the center of our instincts and emotions. It stands for sensuality, vibrancy, sexuality, and creativity.
Causes of a blocked sacral chakra can be a lack of tenderness or sexual abuse.

If the sacral chakra is blocked, we notice this through the following signs:

• Fear of change
• Emotional instability
• Lack of creativity
• Loneliness and isolation
• Aggression and anger
• Depression and addictions
• Discomfort in the lower back and hips, kidneys, bladder, sexual organs

 

3. Manipura (Lake of Jewels or Place of Jewels) - the Navel Chakra / Solar Plexus Chakra

The navel chakra is located three finger-widths above the navel in the area of the solar plexus. Its element is fire and its resonance color is yellow. Its symbol is the ten-petaled lotus, whose individual petals represent the ten Pranas.

Manipura is often described as our inner sun. It is responsible for our self-confidence and our inner center. It controls our self-image, self-confidence, and identity formation. Here our enthusiasm, our eagerness, and joy arise. Because being enthusiastic about new ideas and doing things with passion makes us happy and fulfills our lives.

When our navel chakra is unbalanced or blocked, we feel our inner fire weakened.

If the navel chakra is blocked, we notice this through the following signs:

• Insecurity
• Indecisiveness
• Lack of drive
• Lack of self-confidence
• Weakened digestive organs, liver, spleen, and pancreas

 

4. Anahata (unstruck, undamaged) - the Heart Chakra

The heart chakra is located in the center of the chest, at the level of the heart. It is the middle of the seven chakras and connects the material with the spiritual planes. Its element is air and its color is green. Anahata is depicted as a twelve-petaled green lotus. In the middle, a six-pointed star (Yantra) is shown, consisting of two overlapping triangles, one pointing upwards and the other downwards. These symbolize the Masculine and Feminine Principles that harmonize and are in balance with each other.

The heart chakra is the center of unconditional love. Learning not only to receive love but also to give love, and developing compassion, empathy, and tolerance are among the main tasks of this chakra.
Only when this chakra is activated and open can we work on the higher chakras.

Signs of a blocked heart chakra:

• Feeling lonely
• Bitterness, envy, and jealousy
• Poor circulation
• Blood pressure disorders
• Heart and lung problems

 

5. Vishuddha (Center of Purity) – the Throat Chakra

The throat chakra is located in the neck at the height of the larynx. Its element is ether and its color is light blue. It is depicted as a sixteen-petaled blue lotus.
Vishuddha is responsible for communication. It helps us express our thoughts and feelings. It helps us to communicate and connect with each other. When the Ajna (Third Eye) is open, the energy from the Vishuddha can ascend and unconditional love can find its expression. The connection with everything becomes conscious to us.

A blocked throat chakra manifests as follows:

• Communication difficulties
• Reservedness
• Throat area discomfort, neck, vocal cords, thyroid, upper lung area, bronchi, trachea

 

6. Ajna (Perceive) – Third Eye – the Forehead Chakra

The forehead chakra or “The Third Eye” is located in the center of the forehead between the two eyebrows. It is responsible for our perception and our intellect but also for our intuition and is the seat of the mind.
Its symbol is depicted as an indigo blue lotus with ninety-six petals.

The Ajna controls thought processes and is responsible for our concentration. A well-developed and activated forehead chakra ensures good imagination, fantasy, and visionary thinking, as well as strong intuition.

Symptoms of a blocked forehead chakra:

• Difficulty implementing ideas
• Lack of planning
• Psychological stress
• Nervous system diseases
• Complaints in the area of the eyes, ears, nose, head

 

7. Sahasrara (Thousandfold) – the Crown Chakra

 

The crown chakra is located at and up to a hand's width above the crown of the head. It opens upwards to connect us with the Divine. It stands for the transcendent and the purest consciousness.
Sahasrara is depicted as a violet thousand-petaled lotus. The colors are violet and white.
This chakra includes the functions of the cerebrum and the pineal gland.
Sahasrara enables us to have a spiritual understanding.
